Mark Shirman, President and CEO, GlassHouse Technologies

Mark Shirman, has nearly twenty years of entrepreneurial experience in IT services. Before founding GlassHouse, Mark was executive vice president of corporate development and CTO at Convergent Group where he executed a combination of operational and marketing strategies that resulted in a successful public offering and the subsequent sale of the business to Schlumberger Corporation. Prior to Convergent Group, Mark was responsible for the worldwide e-Business and CRM lines of business for Cambridge Technology Partners. Previously, Mark ran similar units for BSG/Alliance IT. In 1985, he successfully launched a new breed IT consulting company called Innovative Information Systems Inc. (IISI) was focused on emerging technologies and application development. Mark served as CEO of IISI until its sale to CDI Corporation in 1990, and then served as its president until 1995. Mark started his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. after receiving his BA in Economics from Brandeis University and his MBA from American University. He also serves as a member of the Boston Public Library Technology Council.

Robert Davoli, Managing Partner, Sigma Partners

Bob Davoli, managing director, joined Sigma in 1995. He has 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry. Most recently he was President and CEO of Epoch Systems, the leading vendor of client-server data management software products. He sold the firm in 1993 to EMC for $141 million. Previously, he was the Founder, President and CEO of SQL Solutions, a leading purveyor of services and tools for the relational database market. He sold SQL Solutions to Sybase for stock eventually worth over $100 million. Today the SQL Solutions consulting and system administration tools division of Sybase has over $300 million in annual revenues. He served as an executive officer of Sybase for over two years. Bob has a B.A. in History from Ricker College and studied computer science at Northeastern University for two years. He has been responsible for Sigma's investments in Aprimo, Cerulean Technology, Dazel Corporation, edocs, ExaGrid Systems, GlassHouse Technologies, Idiom Technologies, Incipient, Initiate Systems, Internet Security Systems, m-Qube, Noetix, Octane Software, OutStart, StorageNetworks, Tradex Technologies, Vericept, Versata, Vettro, Vignette Corporation, Virtusa, and Visual Mining.

Christopher H. Greendale, Venture Partner, Kodiak Venture Partners

Chris Greendale brings to Kodiak more than 25 years of software and technology services experience in sales, marketing, investment, and executive management that includes co-founding Cambridge Technology Partners, which had one of the most successful IPOs of the 1990s. As a General Partner, he primarily focuses on investments in the software and services segments but does reach across all of Kodiak's technology segments including communications and wireless, Internet and new media, and semiconductors and equipment  Prior to joining Kodiak, Chris was a seed investor in many successful technology companies. Most recently he served as Managing Director at Internet Capital Group and was a Venture Partner at GrandBanks Capital. In these positions he served as a board member for start-ups, including Clarify, and publicly traded companies including Surgency, and Context Integration, Inc. (acquired by eFORCE). He also served as Chairman of the Board for Breakaway Solutions, Inc., where he oversaw the company's IPO. He also is on the boards of directors of the firm's portfolio companies including GlassHouse Technologies; HiWired; Pragmatech; uLocate; and Vettro.  In addition to his board memberships at Kodiak portfolio companies, Chris also serves on the board of Tumbleweed Communications Corp.  Chris holds a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University.

Todd Gresham, Executive Vice President, Xyratex, Int'l.

Todd Gresham is Executive Vice President of the Networked Storage Solutions Division at Xyratex Int'l. Mr. Gresham joined Xyratex in September of 2005 from nStor Technologies, Inc. At nStor, he was President and CEO. Mr. Gresham has over 25 years of executive management experience in both publicly traded and privately held companies. Mr. Gresham served as Vice President of Global OEM and Reseller Sales at EMC, and General Manager of Asia/Pacific Operations, as well as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at CLARiiON. Prior to CLARiiON, Mr. Gresham held various executive positions with both Philips Laser Magnetics (LMSI), a division of Philips NV, and StorageTek.

Lt. General (Ret) USAF Kenneth A. Minihan, Principal, Homeland Security Fund Investment Committee

Lt. Gen. Minihan, a principal and member of the Homeland Security Fund Investment Committee, was the 14th Director of the National Security Agency/Central Security Service. During his military service at the national level, Lt. General Minihan demonstrated a long history of making new technologies operational and implementing leading edge services and products in a competitive environment where lives were often at risk. During the last twenty years of the Cold War and the transition to the Information Age, he was instrumental in the definition and selection of technology solutions to solve the most difficult national security information needs. Throughout that time, Lt. General Minihan helped set the performance standards for information enterprise operations. Lt. General Minihan is a Founder of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA), which focuses on shared government and industry national intelligence and technology challenges. He also is a member of the Air Force Association, the National Military Intelligence Association and other national organizations. While at the National Security Agency, he was instrumental in the definition and implementation of the National Information Assurance Program. He devotes considerable attention to and consults on national security affairs. Lt. General Minihan has a BA from Florida State University, a MA from the Naval Postgraduate School, and has completed executive development programs at the University of Illinois and Harvard University. Among his awards and decorations are the National Security Medal, the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, the Bronze Star, the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal, and the Legion of Merit.

Ryan Moore, General Partner, GrandBanks Capital

Ryan co-founded GrandBanks Capital with Charley Lax and focuses primarily on investments in the wireless technology space as well as the software and software - services markets. Ryan currently serves on the board of directors of GBC portfolio companies Enpocket, First Coverage, GlassHouse Technologies, uLocate Communications and Vivox. Prior to co-founding GBC, Ryan worked with Charley at SOFTBANK Venture Capital (n/k/a Mobius Venture Capital), and SOFTBANK Capital Partners, originally a strategic late-stage investment fund. Previously, he was a Senior Associate focusing on Technology Investment Banking with Robertson Stephens in San Francisco. During his tenure at Robertson Stephens, Ryan worked with a number of technology companies on strategic and financial transactions including E*Trade Group, eBay, Internet Security Systems and WebMD. Ryan earned his AB in Economics from Princeton University.

Glenn Osaka, Vice President, Cisco Systems

Glenn is Vice President, Strategy and Planning for Worldwide Operations at Cisco Systems. Prior to joining Cisco, he was President and CEO of Reactivity, Inc., a start up leader in XML acceleration and security processing. He has previously served as the Silicon Valley Managing Director of the Redleaf Group, an early stage focused technology investment company. Glenn also contributed for over 20 years at Hewlett Packard Company in a variety of roles focused on enterprise information technology including assignments managing HP's $4 billion Enterprise Computing Group and leading HP's Worldwide Professional Services Organization. He holds a BA in psychology and and MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.


Patrick J. Scannell, Jr., Sr. Vice President, CFO & Treasurer, Netezza Corporation

Pat Scannell is Senior Vice President, CFO & Treasurer of Netezza. Pat brings more than 30 years of financial and operational experience in both venture-backed and public companies in high-technology industries to Netezza where he is responsible for the company’s financial, accounting, legal, SEC compliance, human resources and information technology functions. Most recently, Pat was responsible for the company’s initial public offering in July 2007.  Prior to joining Netezza, Pat served as CFO of PhotonEx Corporation, a leading provider of next-generation optical systems for core public services networks. Prior to his work at PhotonEx, he was CFO of Silknet Software, a company he took public before orchestrating its sale to Kana, a leading provider of enterprise customer support and communications applications. Before Silknet, Pat was Executive Vice President & CFO of Applix, Inc., a global provider of enterprise-wide business performance management solutions. While at Applix, he led the company through a successful initial public offering and a number of strategic acquisitions. He earned an MBA from Babson College and a B.S. from Boston College and practiced as a Certified Public Accountant.
